I  AM   HOUSTON

Sam Houston was a man as large as the events in which he took part.  From his early years among the Cherokees in Tennessee through the time he served as president, senator, and governor of Texas, the Hero of San Jacinto was as colorful as the clothes he wore. Because of the way he made  the   S  in his first name, his signature seemed to say
